Sales Specialist – Diagnostic Oncology (IVD)
📍 Location: Seattle, CO or Denver, CO
💼 Full-Time | Field-Based 70-80% Travel (Company Car Provided)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Medical Device Sales Specialist to join the Diagnostic Oncology team, with a focus on in-vitro diagnostics (IVD) and liver cancer risk biomarkers. This role is responsible for driving sales by establishing relationships with key accounts and opinion leaders within the hepatology and oncology communities. The ideal candidate brings deep clinical knowledge, strong account management experience, and a passion for improving patient outcomes through innovative diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prioritize, and engage key accounts and opinion leaders in the hepatology/oncology space.
- Drive sales and adoption of HCC risk biomarkers across the assigned territory.
- Demonstrate disease state and product competency to educate healthcare professionals effectively.
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to support account growth.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, medical affairs, and marketing teams to drive business results.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to refine strategy and maximize impact.
- Maintain accurate customer records and reporting using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
- Provide reimbursement and coding support to laboratories and clinical partners.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and credentialing requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; background in biological sciences preferred.
- 4-8+ years of experience in diagnostic or Medical Device sales
- Strong understanding of GI or Liver diagnostics and related clinical applications.
- Experience with academic institutions, large oncology accounts, or diagnostic/genomic testing preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Willingness to travel, including overnight and occasional weekend travel.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Compensation Package
- $110k base salary + COMMISSION
