A mission-driven health tech company is seeking a Director of Sales to lead growth within its pharmaceutical vertical. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role where you’ll drive the go-to-market strategy, build relationships with top pharma and biotech companies, and close complex, high-value deals that directly improve patient access and affordability.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the go-to-market strategy for the pharmaceutical sector
- Identify and engage key decision-makers across Market Access, Patient Services, and Commercial teams
- Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing strategic partnerships
- Stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory shifts to inform strategy
- Collaborate with product and marketing teams to align solutions with evolving pharma needs
- Customize offerings to address complex patient support and affordability challenges
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience selling SaaS solutions to pharmaceutical companies
- Proven success building and scaling a vertical or new market
- Deep knowledge of the pharma landscape, including market access and patient services
- Strong track record of closing high-value, complex deals
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment
- Willingness to travel 30–50% of the time
