Business Development Director – Biologics CDMO Services -  (Europe - UK, Germany, Switzerland)

We are seeking an experienced business development professional to drive growth across our client's CDMO services in Europe. This role focuses on securing new client partnerships, expanding existing accounts, and positioning a technical services organisation as a trusted long-term partner across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with European growth objectives

  • Identify and secure new client opportunities across biotech and pharmaceutical markets

  • Build senior-level relationships with stakeholders across multiple European countries

  • Lead proposals, pricing discussions, and commercial negotiations

  • Collaborate with technical and operational teams to deliver tailored client solutions

  • Represent the organisation at European industry events and conferences

Experience & Profile

  • Proven business development experience within pharma, biotech, or CDMO environments

  • Strong understanding of drug development, manufacturing, and regulated processes

  • Track record of closing complex, multi-country deals and achieving revenue targets

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; additional European languages are an advantage

  • Willingness to travel across Europe as required
