Business Development Manager

Are you a commercially driven business developer with deep roots in biopharma? BioTalent have teamed up with a Biotech Innovator who are expanding across Europe, They are hiring an experienced Business Development Manager to help drive growth across key markets.

 

You’ll be responsible for expanding European footprint, managing sales pipelines, building strategic partnerships, and ensuring innovative products (from reagents to single-use bioprocessing solutions) are embedded in the workflows of biotech and biopharma clients, from early-stage research through to commercial manufacturing.

 

🔍 What you'll be doing:

  • Own sales performance across an assigned territory and customer base
  • Identify and close new business opportunities in line with the companies expansion strategy
  • Introduce cutting-edge products into the market and follow through on customer success
  • Position solutions across (pre)clinical to commercial workflows, covering antibodies, recombinant proteins, cell/gene therapies, vaccines, and more
  • Grow and manage a robust network of distributors, OEM partners, and sales channels across Europe
  • Act as a key link between customers and technical teams
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and customer intelligence
  • Contribute to regional marketing activities and strategy execution

 

✅ What we're looking for:

  • Degree in Life Sciences or Biopharma (advanced qualifications a plus)
  • 5–8+ years in field sales with bioprocessing equipment and consumables
  • Deep familiarity with bioreactors, cell culture media, single-use systems, etc.
  • Strong network of potential clients and partners in Europe
  • Fluent in sales strategy, client negotiation, and closing deals
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the region
