Business Development Director – Biologics CDMO
Location: Remote / Travel Required
Industry: Biologics CDMO
Level: Director
We’re seeking a driven, science-literate business development professional to lead growth in biologics development and manufacturing services, covering early to commercial-phase programs.
Key Responsibilities

Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in mid-to-large pharma and biotech sectors.

Manage the full sales cycle for biologics drug substance and drug product services.

Build and maintain strategic client relationships; drive repeat and expansion business.

Collaborate with technical and marketing teams to align on proposals, strategy, and customer needs.

Attend industry events, manage CRM data (e.g., Salesforce), and provide regular sales reporting.
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field.

5+ years of experience in CDMO sales or technical roles in biologics manufacturing.

Proven track record in securing and growing accounts in the CDMO space.

Strong communication, negotiation, and project management skills.

Comfortable with cold outreach, frequent travel, and working in a dynamic environment.
