- Monitor overall account health, including satisfaction, retention, and organic growth opportunities.
- Ensure all deliverables meet client expectations, brand guidelines, and medical communication standards.
Project & Program Oversight
- Oversee the planning, development, and execution of a variety of MedComms deliverables (e.g., slide decks, advisory boards, symposia, training materials, scientific platforms, medical strategy projects).
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Ensure projects stay within scope while managing changes, risks, and client feedback effectively.
- Coordinate seamlessly with scientific, editorial, creative, and project management teams.
- Track progress of all assigned projects and ensure timely delivery across multiple concurrent workstreams.
Internal Leadership & Collaboration
- Provide clear direction and guidance to project teams, ensuring alignment on goals, expectations, and responsibilities.
- Facilitate collaboration across teams to promote efficient workflow and unified execution.
- Support junior team members through mentorship, feedback, and problem‑solving.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes, documentation, and workflow optimization.
- Uphold team accountability while maintaining a positive, supportive working environment.
Financial & Operational Management
- Develop, monitor, and reconcile project budgets; identify scope changes and prepare estimates accordingly.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial tracking, reporting, and forecasting.
- Support account leadership in broader account planning, revenue monitoring, and operational decision‑making.
Strategic Contribution
- Provide input into strategic communication planning and long‑term client initiatives.
- Support development of annual publication, medical, or strategic plans (depending on client needs).
- Contribute insights on competitor landscape, marketplace shifts, and therapeutic area context.
- Participate in new-business development, including proposal writing, pitch support, and scoping.
