Senior Account Manager (HCP)
Job description
Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Account Manager to join our medical communications team, focusing on healthcare professional (HCP) engagement outside of publications. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in account management, strategic planning, and executing medical education or engagement initiatives. You will be the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams, ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality HCP programs.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning, execution, and management of HCP-focused projects, including: advisory boards, speaker programs, educational events, and digital engagement initiatives.

Serve as the main client contact, building strong relationships and understanding client objectives to deliver tailored solutions.

Collaborate with internal medical, creative, and strategy teams to ensure timely, high-quality project deliverables.

Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources efficiently while maintaining client satisfaction.

Provide strategic input and recommendations to enhance HCP engagement and program outcomes.

Support business development efforts, including proposal development and new client pitches.
Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in medical communications, preferably in agency account management.

Strong experience managing HCP-facing projects (non-publications).

Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.

Strong organizational, planning, and project management abilities.

Ability to lead teams, mentor junior staff, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Knowledge of medical affairs, scientific content, and healthcare professional engagement strategies is highly desirable.
