Hospital Key Account Manager – Field Based - Midlaneds and Wales

Overview:
Responsible for driving pharmaceutical sales across a defined region, with a strong focus on customer engagement and account growth. This role suits a proactive self-starter with a strong commercial mindset and a track record of identifying and converting new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute territory plans aligned with national goals.

  • Use market insights and sales data to inform strategy and maximise ROI.

  • Manage and grow key accounts, nurturing long-term relationships.

  • Present clinical and value-based solutions to multi-disciplinary stakeholders.

  • Drive product uptake through effective stakeholder engagement.

  • Forecast demand and support tender processes.

  • Represent the company at relevant industry events and forums.

Experience & Skills:

  • Degree-qualified with ABPI certification.

  • Proven success in hospital pharmaceutical sales, including product launches.

  • Strong knowledge of NHS tendering and procurement processes.

  • Skilled in account management, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Experience in NICU, PICU, anaesthesia, or injectable therapies preferred.

  • Comfortable working in clinical environments including theatres and ICUs.

  • Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar hospital sales role.

Additional Info:
Field-based role requiring 3–4 days per week in territory, with a focus on face-to-face interactions and relationship building.
