Location: Paris (occasional remote possible)
Contract: Full-time
We are working with an innovative organisation at the intersection of AI and life sciences. The company applies advanced computational and data-driven approaches to accelerate therapeutic discovery and deliver actionable biological insights.
This is an opportunity to join a collaborative, science-led team working at the cutting edge of computational biology and artificial intelligence.
This role will offer you:
- The opportunity to work hands-on with state-of-the-art AI models to drive discoveries in biomarker identification, mechanism-of-action studies, and patient stratification.
- A client-facing role where you translate complex biological and biomedical data into actionable insights for industry partners.
- Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of AI researchers, computational biologists, and domain experts at the interface of data science and biology.
- A chance to contribute to top-tier scientific publications and proof-of-concept projects that shape the future of drug discovery.
Responsibilities:
- Apply advanced computational methods to large-scale biomedical datasets, fine-tuning AI models and generating actionable biological insights.
- Execute analyses across omics and clinical data (with a focus on transcriptomics), applying rigorous methods for QC, differential expression, and interpretation.
- Participate in client meetings, proposals, and proof-of-concept studies, demonstrating the value of AI-driven biology.
- Iterate analyses based on customer feedback, often under tight deadlines, to ensure impactful outcomes.
You will bring:
- A Master’s or PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in biomedical data analysis, particularly transcriptomics (e.g., RNAseq), including QC, differential expression, and visualisation.
- Proficiency in Python and solid software engineering skills, including version control, testing, and CI/CD practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts clearly to both scientific and non-scientific audiences.
- A proactive, client-oriented mindset with the flexibility to adapt approaches to partner needs.
How to stand out:
- Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, particularly in client-facing or translational roles.
- Familiarity with disease biology and the ability to interpret omics data in this context.
- A strong sense of ownership and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
- A collaborative approach, with the willingness to go beyond your job description to support the team’
