​We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Director join our healthcare advertising partner. The ideal candidate will have 6-7 years of experience in account management within a healthcare advertising agency. Experience in rare diseases is a plus. As an Account Director, you will be responsible for leading client relationships, overseeing project execution, and driving strategic initiatives that align with our clients' goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships. Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans that meet client objectives. Provide strategic guidance and insights to clients, particularly in the rare disease space.

  • Project Oversight: Oversee the execution of campaigns from inception to completion. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

  • Team Collaboration: Lead and mentor a team of account managers and other staff. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and excellence.

  • Financial Management: Manage account budgets, forecasts, and financials. Ensure profitability and financial health of assigned accounts.

  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue opportunities for account growth. Participate in new business pitches and proposals.

  • Industry Knowledge: Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies. Leverage this knowledge to provide added value to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 6-7 years of experience in account management within a healthcare advertising agency. Experience in rare diseases is a significant advantage.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

  • Skills:

    • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.

    • Financial acumen and experience managing budgets.

    • Leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and developing teams.
