Manager Pharmacovigilance Operations

Summary:

BioTalent is currently supporting a Pharmaceutical company to find a Manager for Pharmacovigilance Operations. This individual is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Pharmacovigilance department. This includes overseeing the management of pharmacovigilance data and resources, as well as the management of pharmacovigilance activities, such as adverse event reporting, risk management, and post-marketing surveillance. The Manager of Pharmacovigilance Operations also works closely with other departments, such as Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, and Medical Affairs, to ensure that pharmacovigilance activities are integrated into the overall drug development and commercialization process.

Responsibilities:

• Manage pharmacovigilance data and resources
• Oversee the management of pharmacovigilance activities, including adverse event reporting, risk management, and post-marketing surveillance
• Work closely with other departments, such as Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, and Medical Affairs, to ensure that pharmacovigilance activities are integrated into the overall drug development and commercialization process
• Stay up-to-date on pharmacovigilance regulations and best practices
• Provide leadership and direction to the Pharmacovigilance Operations team
• Represent the Pharmacovigilance department to senior management and other stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as pharmacology, toxicology, or clinical research
• 5+ years of experience in pharmacovigilance, with a focus on operations
• Proven track record of success in managing pharmacovigilance operations
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
