Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new and existing clients and business opportunities within Italy, specifically focusing on selling clinical trial services, including drug packaging, distribution, and comparator sourcing.
- Collaborate with all Business units to deliver integrated solutions and proposals to meet customer needs promptly.
- Manage client expectations by involving colleagues from Client Services, Subject Matter Experts, and Executive Leadership Team members, fostering strong relationships.
- Document activities and report progress using CRM systems, regularly reviewing performance and suggesting strategies to meet targets.
- Lead the process of securing new business, including bid defense meetings, quote discussions, and contract management, and be accountable for meeting new business targets.
- Understand the outsourcing strategies of assigned clients and develop strategies to maximize opportunities for clinical trial supplies services, prioritizing accounts and identifying decision-makers.
- Meet and exceed sales goals for assigned accounts or territories.
- Follow company policies and procedures, making recommendations for improvements when necessary.
- Participate in training and development opportunities.
- Perform other sales-related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- BSc/BA or equivalent in business or the sciences.
- 4 years of clinical project experience plus 4 years of related sales experience, preferably including clinical protocol development and/or CRO sales.
- Experience within the CDMO industry related to DS/DP is an advantage.
- Knowledge of clinical trials and/or materials management.
