Product Manager Team Lead

Job description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Product Managers and Specialists to enhance expertise in markets, products, and applications while achieving departmental goals.

  • Define and implement a long-term competitive strategy for the assigned product group.

  • Present strategic product plans to senior leadership in a clear and concise manner.

  • Identify opportunities for new products, recommend enhancements, and support product lifecycle decisions including phase-outs.

  • Guide new product development from concept through launch, including positioning, core content creation, and application insights.

  • Maintain strong product reputation in the market, focusing on quality, innovation, and value.

  • Ensure products meet high application standards and align with customer needs.

  • Provide product and application training to support and energize the sales team.

  • Foster cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Manufacturing, and R&D to drive shared objectives.

  • Analyze market intelligence, competitive data, and customer feedback to inform strategy and make data-driven recommendations.

  • Collaborate with Marketing to support promotional activities and campaign execution.

  • Conduct annual performance reviews in alignment with organizational HR standards.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline, or equivalent education and professional experience.

  • Minimum five years of experience in Product Management within a technical or industrial sector (e.g., HVAC or related field).

  • Proven ability to develop and communicate strategic product plans to senior stakeholders.

  • Expertise in specific product areas, market segments, or applications.

  • Strong leadership skills with experience facilitating cross-functional initiatives and teams.

  • Demonstrated analytical, strategic, and decision-making capabilities.

  • Proactive problem-solving, creativity, and effective influencing skills.

  • Strong communication, presentation, organizational, and time-management skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Willingness to travel up to 20% as needed.
