Principal Advisor, Market Access (Ophthalmology | Buy & Bill)

This is a senior, strategic role focused on leading market access thought leadership and payer marketing for ophthalmology Buy & Bill products, including biosimilars. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to pharmaceutical clients, guiding access strategy, reimbursement planning, and brand positioning across the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of access and reimbursement strategies for Buy & Bill products, with a strong focus on ophthalmology

  • Advise clients on navigating commercial health plans, Medicare Part B and Part C, Medicaid, specialty pharmacy, GPOs, and related stakeholders

  • Translate complex market access challenges into actionable strategic and tactical plans

  • Act as a “brand champion,” fostering strategic thinking and business acumen across internal and external teams

  • Analyze market dynamics, competitive intelligence, customer insights, and policy trends to inform strategy

  • Direct annual, quarterly, and ad hoc brand planning initiatives

  • Partner closely with account, creative, and other cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, compliant, and on-strategy deliverables

  • Support business development and brand planning through landscape assessments, evidence evaluation, and research recommendations

  • Contribute to the ideation and development of innovative, compliant promotional and educational programs

  • Serve as a senior client-facing advisor, leading workshops, scenario planning, and strategic discussions

  • Define and monitor KPIs to ensure programs deliver measurable value and adapt to market changes

What We’re Looking For

  • Deep expertise in U.S. market access, reimbursement, pricing, and contracting

  • Strong understanding of HEOR, RWE, and evidence requirements that influence access decisions

  • Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, compelling recommendations

  • Confident leadership presence with strong communication, collaboration, and consultative skills

  • Comfort working independently while influencing cross-functional and external partners

Location Requirement

  • Candidates must be based in the NJ Tri-State area (New Jersey, New York City, or local Pennsylvania)
