This role is ideal for someone with a passion for large-scale transcriptomic data and its integration into scalable software and machine learning–driven platforms. You will contribute to single-cell and spatial transcriptomics analysis and help translate scientific breakthroughs into innovative cell replacement therapies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead new research initiatives at the interface of bioinformatics and AI-driven stem cell biology
  • Analyze extensive transcriptomic datasets to inform machine learning models and validate biological hypotheses
  • Design and optimize bioinformatics pipelines for the preprocessing, analysis, and interpretation of high-dimensional transcriptomic data
  • Stay current with advances in bioinformatics and AI, especially in developmental biology, single-cell multi-modal analysis, and spatial transcriptomics
  • Work independently in a fast-paced startup environment, helping shape the computational biology roadmap
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with computational biologists, ML researchers, and software engineers

Qualifications

  • MSc or higher in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience analyzing large-scale genomic and transcriptomic datasets (e.g., single-cell RNA-seq, spatial omics)
  • 6+ years of software, ML, or analytics development in industry settings
  • Strong computational/statistical skills with a track record in high-dimensional biological data analysis
  • Excellent programming skills (preferably Python or another object-oriented language)
  • Experience developing and evaluating machine learning models (e.g., PyTorch)
  • A passion for data-driven biology and its potential to revolutionize healthcare

Preferred Qualifications

  • Domain knowledge in developmental biology or stem cell research
  • Experience in startup or fast-paced environments
  • PhD with a strong publication record in bioinformatics or computational biology
  • Experience in technically leading product development or cross-functional teams

Benefits

  • Take on a technical leadership role within a mission-driven company
  • Collaborate with a talented and enthusiastic team at the forefront of AI and cell biology
  • Contribute to groundbreaking therapies that address unmet medical needs
  • Competitive salary and benefits, including flexible work options
