We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Marketing UK & I to join a prominent player in the eye care sector. This role offers you the chance to make a lasting impact by leading a team of specialist Product Managers responsible for crafting and executing brand strategies across a comprehensive Surgical product portfolio.
As a Head of Marketing, you will drive the development of marketing strategies that align with the franchise's goals and objectives. Your role will involve setting marketing strategies to achieve financial targets while overseeing product strategies that deliver exceptional value to customers.

  • Ensure compliance with industry codes of practice
  • Support Product Managers' growth through coaching and development

  • Proven experience in strategic marketing leadership is essential
  • Background in commercial functions, particularly Sales (capital equipment experience preferred)
  • Track record of success in sales roles, ideally within a hospital environment
  • Proficiency in using persuasion and influencing tactics for successful marketing campaigns
  • Ability to engage and influence Senior Managers across various business units
  • Deep understanding of the UK Healthcare Market, encompassing public and private sectors
  • Experience achieving results through third-party agencies
  • Awareness of the medtech industry and its products, services, and marketplace
  • Strong project management skills with the flexibility to adapt to evolving customer needs
  • Experience in team management and leadership, preferably within marketing teams
  • Desirable: University degree in Life Sciences or Business, or equivalent qualifications
  • Preferred: Marketing Qualification
