Group Account Supervisor - Healthcare Advertising (NJ)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Group Account Supervisor to join one of our health advertising partners! The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of managing client relationships, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering exceptional advertising campaigns. This role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, fostering strong, long-term relationships.
    • Understand clients' business objectives, challenges, and needs to provide strategic guidance and solutions.
    • Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
  • Team Leadership:

    • Lead and mentor a team of account managers and executives, providing guidance and support.
    • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, encouraging professional growth and development.
    • Coordinate with creative, strategy, and production teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Project Management:

    • Oversee the planning, development, and execution of advertising campaigns across multiple channels.
    • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
    • Monitor campaign performance and provide regular updates and reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strategic Planning:

    • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve client goals and objectives.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to provide innovative solutions.
    • Contribute to new business development efforts, including proposal development and presentations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in account management, preferably in a health/pharma advertising agency.
  • Proven track record of managing large accounts and leading successful advertising campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively to solve complex problems.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management software.
