Product Owner – Drug Product Tech Transfer

A global CDMO is hiring a Product Owner to join their newly formed Drug Product & Finished Goods Tech Transfer team. This is a key role supporting strategic and timely tech transfers related to formulation, sterile fill/finish, and visual inspection. You'll be the product expert from tech transfer through to commercial supply, working closely with internal SMEs, manufacturing teams, and customer partners.

This role offers the chance to work across international sites, including an upcoming facility in the US (launching in 2026), with several active and upcoming transfer projects already in motion.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as product expert within customer programs:

  • Support RFP assessments and customer meetings

  • Lead initial process design efforts and technical Q&A with clients

  • Drive risk assessments, gap analysis, control strategy, and CQA/CPP definition

  • Own engineering runs, PPQ protocols, and documentation

• Oversee product lifecycle post-transfer:

  • CPV, APQR, and continuous improvements

  • Lead or support CAPAs for OOS and non-compliance events

• Represent the company in regulatory audits and inspections

• Attend relevant industry events and forums to support development and networking

What You’ll Need

• Solid background in pharma or biopharma with hands-on GMP experience

• Strong knowledge of drug product manufacturing and/or CMC

• Experience writing regulatory documentation

• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)

• A proactive, self-driven mindset and ability to manage complex workstreams

• Previous experience in a similar tech transfer or product owner role is preferred
