BioTalent is excited to be partnering with a leading global pharmaceutical services company who are seeking a highly specialised Principal Scientist to be a key Subject Matter Expert and the operational lead within their analytics team. This is a hugely exciting role for someone looking to take on a leadership position and grow a high-performing team!
You would be responsible for the oversight and management of large molecule bioanalytical studies (method development & validation, sample analysis and equipment validation studies), as well as contributing to bioanalytical scientific and regulatory strategies and leading scientists in the lab.

You would be responsible for the oversight and management of large molecule bioanalytical studies (method development & validation, sample analysis and equipment validation studies), as well as contributing to bioanalytical scientific and regulatory strategies and leading scientists in the lab.
The key responsibilities for the role are:
- Overall management of both regulatory and non-regulatory studies which includes equipment validation, providing regulatory expertise for the interpretation and implementation of regulatory requirements relating to the bioanalysis of large molecules (PK, ADA and biomarkers).
- Operational management of lab teams, providing technical, practical and scientific direction.
- Lead method development and troubleshooting activities for large molecule techniques.
- Support the design and management of the validation/revalidation of lab equipment and the associated software including computerised system validation.
- Provide scientific support and direction to clients on their key projects.
The key experiences you need to be successful are:
- An extensive background in large molecule bioanalysis.
- Established experience conducting method and analytical development activities.
- Experience leading a team, from recruitment and onboarding to training and development.
- A high standard of precision and accuracy and to comply with all the laboratory's GLP/ GCP procedures.
