Location: Atlanta, GA
Pay Range: $22.50 - $24.00 hourly, depending on education and/or experience
Our client, a leading company in the medical device industry, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician I to join their Production team. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of essential laboratory tasks, contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of the department.

Our client, a leading company in the medical device industry, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician I to join their Production team. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of essential laboratory tasks, contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage lab materials, including making acid dilutions and carriers.
- Maintain a clean and organized lab environment by washing glassware and restocking consumables.
- Perform quality control tasks such as labeling final products, performing contamination wipes, and conducting daily instrument checks.
- Assist with inventory management, including physical inventory of chemicals and isotope batches, as well as managing the flow of various materials like soil, sand, and other sediments.
- Utilize specialized equipment to engrave parts, cut plugs, and open cartridges.
- Measure volume on gas spheres and gas syringes.
- Support general lab operations by pulling customer containers, cleaning customer bins, and making copies.
- Assist with administrative tasks like scanning old calibration packets and lab notebooks, pulling syringes, and ordering lab supplies.
- Education: A high school diploma is required. A Bachelor's degree in Science is preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of general lab experience.
- Skills:
- Ability to read and understand professional documents.
- Basic laboratory skills and a strong understanding of Good Laboratory Practices.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in mathematical concepts, including algebra, geometry, probability, and statistical inference.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with power tools and machinery is a plus.
