Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for biotech and a knack for building long-term client relationships? BioTalent have teamed up with a fast growing organisations bringing transformative tools to the forefront of cell and gene therapy development who are on their search for a Key Account Manager and help shape the future of biopharma innovation.

 

They are looking for someone who’s just as comfortable discussing cutting-edge cell line development as they are closing complex deals. In this remote, field-based role (with 50–75% travel - you must be based in Germany, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Denmark or France), you'll take ownership of a defined territory—growing accounts, driving new business, and becoming a trusted partner to some of the most innovative biotech labs in the world.

 

🌍 What You’ll Do

  • Own and grow relationships with key biotech and biopharma clients
  • Promote the Cell Line Development portfolio (capital equipment, consumables, and services)
  • Support and upsell into existing customer base, ensuring they’re fully trained and getting the most from solutions
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities by understanding customer challenges and presenting tailored solutions
  • Collaborate closely with Inside Sales and Field Application Scientists
  • Develop and execute clear strategic plans to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Use a consultative approach to influence lab managers, technicians, procurement teams, and senior stakeholders

 

🎯 What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in life sciences sales, preferably with biotech/biopharma clients
  • Strong background in bioprocessing and capital equipment sales
  • Proven ability to navigate complex sales with multiple stakeholders
  • Scientific curiosity with a commercial mindset
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Skilled in CRM tools (ideally Salesforce) and Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or business
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 75%, Including international conferences
