Head of Marketing

We are an agile and rapidly expanding HealthTech organization embarking on our first marketing hire. This presents an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned Marketing professional to assume a prominent role within our company. In this capacity, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team by generating high-quality leads to drive commercial success in the German market.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the company conveys the appropriate messaging to attract potential customers and nurture existing relationships.

• Strategize, establish, and execute all web, SEO/SEM, database marketing, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns.

• Gauge and report the performance of all digital marketing initiatives, evaluating their success against our predefined objectives (ROI & KPIs).

• Brainstorm fresh and innovative growth strategies encompassing both digital and offline marketing.

• Devise, carry out, and assess experiments and conversion tests (e.g., split testing of campaigns).

• Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g., Sales) to craft effective campaigns and landing pages, continuously enhancing the user experience and conversion rates.

• Identify pivotal conversion points and drop-off stages, optimizing user journeys.

• Partner with agencies and external marketing collaborators.

Requirements:

• Proven track record in leading and overseeing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns.

• Demonstrated expertise in managing offline marketing campaigns.

• Proficiency in using website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends, SEMRush, etc.).

• Strong hands-on experience with ad-serving tools. • Exceptional proficiency in setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns across major search engines.

• Previous experience in a tech startup and/or within an agency serving startup clients.

• Proficient in devising and launching marketing campaigns spanning web, SEO/SEM, social, email, and display.

• Fluent in both English and German, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Highly analytical, with a data-driven mindset.

• Strong budget management skills and proficiency.
