A growing clinical research site network specializing in late-phase psychiatry and neurology trials is seeking a Licensed Psychologist or Licensed Mental Health Professional to join its Watertown, Massachusetts team. This role offers direct involvement in industry-sponsored clinical trials evaluating investigational treatments across complex CNS indications.
This position is well suited for licensed clinical professionals who are detail-oriented, scientifically curious, and motivated to contribute to advancing treatment options in psychiatry and neurodegenerative disease.
Neuropsychological Ratings and Assessments
- Administer structured psychiatric interviews, cognitive batteries, and standardized rating scales for clinical trial participants
- Conduct assessments across indications including major depressive disorder, Alzheimer’s disease, generalized anxiety disorder, borderline personality disorder, social anxiety disorder, PTSD, schizophrenia, and substance use disorders
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and protocol adherence in all assessments
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and eligibility assessments for psychiatry and neurology clinical trials
- Partner closely with the clinical and operations teams to support enrollment targets
- Maintain documentation in accordance with regulatory and sponsor requirements
- Work within a multidisciplinary team of physicians, psychologists, social workers, and clinical research staff
- Contribute to screening and enrollment strategy discussions
- Monitor study progress and adjust efforts to optimize recruitment and retention
- Master’s degree or higher in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field
- Active Massachusetts licensure required (e.g., PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMSW, LMHC)
- Availability to work onsite Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM; occasional evening hours may be required
- Strong interest in clinical research and neuropsychological assessment
- Prior clinical trial or neuropsychological testing experience preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate across disciplines
