💼 Territory Account Manager – Life Sciences

📍 Field-based | M62 Corridor (Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Sheffield)

🔬 Specialising in Molecular Biology & NGS Solutions

Are you a commercially driven or looking to move into commercial sales? Are you a life sciences professional with a passion for molecular biology and a knack for building strong client relationships? We’re looking for an Territory Account Manager to join our clients growing commercial team and take ownership of a key territory across the M62 corridor.

You’ll be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of business accounts within your region — helping to drive revenue, build meaningful client partnerships, and contribute to the company’s ongoing success in the Next Generation Sequencing space.

 

🔍 What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop and implement a tailored sales strategy for your region to meet and exceed revenue goals
  • Manage existing accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities
  • Stay up to date with our product and service offerings to provide accurate and insightful guidance to clients
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and attend regular sales meetings
  • Travel within your territory as needed to support customer relationships

 

🧬 What you’ll bring:

  • Master’s degree in Molecular Biology (PhD highly desirable)
  • Solid understanding of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technologies - you don't have to have sales experience but must have a minimum solid technical understand of using these technologies. However sales experience in this area is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills – confident, clear and engaging with both technical and commercial audiences
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing a remote, field-based role with minimal supervision
