Vector Development Specialist (Automation)

 

BioTalent are partnered with a rapidly growing Cell Therapy company based in the Cambridgeshire area, to support with the recruitment of a Vector Development Specialist (Automation). In this position, you will support the development, management, and operation of the vector reagent production platform.

 

You will be responsible for

  • Working closely to the vector development platform, managing the cloning process, reagent development and sample management.
  • Implementation and development of protocols and standards for platform use, managing the project timelines and deliverables.
  • Performing critical assessments of methodologies, instrumentation and workflows in order align with project/regulatory specifications.
  • Supporting the optimisation of high throughput automation, scripting and troubleshooting liquid handlers for the vector development platform.

 

You will bring the following

  • A Life Science degree or higher in a relevant subject e.g. Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Molecular Virology
  • Experience working with automation and process development, ideally within a molecular biology environment.
  • Industrial experience in tracking samples and reagents, utilising systems such as LIMS, Benchling, Dotmatics
