Job description

The Role:

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to drive revenue growth and expand market presence within the plastics injection molding industry.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets within the plastics injection molding sector.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with current and potential clients, understanding their unique needs and offering customized solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams—engineering, production, and customer service—to ensure smooth project execution and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors to shape effective sales strategies and enhance product positioning.
  • Deliver compelling technical presentations, proposals, and quotes, clearly articulating the value of our products and services.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements, ensuring they meet both client expectations and company goals.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze trends, and generate reports to assess progress and identify opportunities for improvement.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Plastics Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in technical sales or business development within the plastics injection molding industry, with in-depth knowledge of molding processes and materials.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated success in building long-term client relationships, fostering loyalty, and driving repeat business.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive, results-driven mindset.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a passion for achieving and surpassing sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and business development initiatives.
