I have a fantastic opportunity to join our client as a Senior QC Scientist based in Cambridge. They are an award-winning company that uses breakthrough technology to combine synthetic and stem cell biology to reprogram human cells used in research, drug discovery and cell therapy.

In this role, you will be reporting to the Associate QC Director in support of QC testing for the clinical manufacture of their first clinical cell therapy!

You will be responsible for:

• The selection of external labs (CTOs & CDMOs) for testing for starting materials and management of these tests
• Leading method transfer, qualification of Assays for QC release
• Working with the analytical development, Quality, and Regulatory teams and cross-functional external and internal partners and stakeholders

You will bring the following:

• A BSc/MSc in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biological Sciences or similar
• In-depth experience managing outsourced QC labs/manufacture
• Leadership and/or management experience in a similar role
• Must have experience working QC within a Cell & Gene industry environment
