BioTalent are excited to partner with a global medical device client seeking an experienced Senior Director, Medical Affairs to join their team. This newly established leadership role will play a pivotal role in devising medical strategy for both pipeline and future assets, overseeing all medical activities across product lifecycle.

- Provide effective medical leadership and collaborate closely with core teams across the franchise to offer guidance on strategic objectives and operational decisions
- Serve as the medical expert leveraging your experience and knowledge in diabetes management, established care standards, published data, and insights from key opinion leaders.
- Devise and execute strategic medical plans covering evidence generation, data dissemination, and HCP engagement activities aligned with global regulatory, commercial, and market access priorities
- Translate available data into meaningful insights and conclusions supporting regulatory submissions, commercial claims, and product value messaging.
- Provide medical input for global regulatory submissions
- Develop data dissemination plans to effectively communicate clinical data and medical insights through various channels such as medical conferences, publications, and educational programs.
- Identify professional learning needs and define educational requirements to ensure the safe and effective use of the products
- Participate in professional engagement interactions with KOLs through one-on-one interactions and advisory boards.
Ideally you will have:
- MD, PharmD, or PhD in a related field
- Demonstrated medical affairs leadership experience within a pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device environment
- Relevant therapeutic experience in Diabetes within a clinical, industry or research setting
- Hands on experience in devising clinical studies and analysing data.
- Ability to effectively communicate high level scientific information to different audiences
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulatory guidelines relating to medical devices
