BioTalent is partnering with a start-up company funded by a government body that is developing a next-generation biochip utilised for research, diagnostics, and personalized medicine. The biochip platform provides multiple features to enhance sequencing applications.


This role will offer you

They are looking for an Engineer to develop an innovative nanotechnology application as part of a multidisciplinary team. This individual will build instruments for high-throughput workflows based on the controlled placement of single molecules. This person will as well develop specialised tools for the creation and development of these instruments.

You will be responsible for

• Develop specialised devices for R&D and production lines.
• Develop tools for single-molecule analysis
• Design device components, develop control software, and create prototypes.
• Support the development of nanostructure functionality

• Master's degree in electrical engineering, physics, or a related discipline
• Liquid handling or microfluidic experience
• Experience in building devices or machines
• Experience with Python and PCB design
• Able to communicate in English
