BioTalent are working with an innovative globally leading organisation who are seeking a Protein Purification Scientist to join their esteemed research and development team in London. As a vital member of the team, you will contribute significantly to projects focused on developing cutting-edge biological cancer therapeutics.

You will be responsible for:

Executing protein purification tasks, working from bench to multi-gram scale.
Conducting quality assessments on purified batches using diverse testing methods.
Contributing to the enhancement of protein purification techniques.
Developing streamlined processes for purifying small protein quantities.
Collaborating on refining purification methods for potential future medicines.
Engaging in exploration of the properties of utilised proteins, including stability and chemical composition.
Participate in a dynamic team working on the forefront of medicinal innovation.
Acquire insights into the intricate process of discovering and developing new medicines.
Collaborate within a professional environment with a team dedicated to creating positive impacts.

You will bring the following:

BSc/MSc in a Life Sciences subject.
Biochemistry background with a strong understanding of proteins and antibodies.
Proficiency using techniques such as AKTA & Unicorn, IEX, HIC, Affinity chromatography, SEC, HPLC, etc.
Desirable - Knowledge and/or practise with Chromeleon and/or Genedata Biologics software systems.
