Biotalent is collaborating with a leading biotechnology company based in London focused on developing biologics to tackle cancer diseases.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a scientist with strong background working with CHO/HEK cell lines within R&D.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and engineer plasmids for the expression of various recombinant proteins, including antibodies and antigens, in CHO/HEK cell lines.
• Develop stable CHO cell lines to scale up antibody production to multi-gram quantities.
• Optimise antibody production using fed-batch processes in bioreactors, ensuring high titer and quality.
• Innovate within the protein expression domain, staying abreast of and implementing cutting-edge technologies.

Candidate Expectations:

• A solid foundation in cell and molecular biology. MSc or PhD.
• Proven experience in transient protein expression in CHO/HEK293 cells and in scaling up antibody production.
• Familiarity with bioreactor fermentation and depth filtration processes.
