Job description
BioTalent are working with a fast growing Cell Therapy company to search for a Site Director of Operations, to be based across their facilities in London. As the Site Director of Operations, you will be accountable for the effective running of the company’s clinical manufacturing.
You will be working collaboratively with Quality, Supply Chain and Clinical teams, with direct line management for Production, QC, and Supply Chain, with some joint accountability for Quality Assurance.

You will be responsible for:
- Champion a continuous improvement environment, working collaboratively with other key functions.
- Working closely with the Head of Quality to ensure GMP and any other legal / regulatory requirements are met
- Champion Health & Safety in the facility and ensure all legal & local requirements are met
- Ownership of the planning and execution of the clinical batch manufacture, incl. all GMP activities
You will bring the following:
- Degree in a relevant field along with strong operation leadership experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, ideally with experience working with clinical manufacture of Cell Therapies.
- Prior experience fully accountable for manufacturing scheduling.
- A track record of recruiting and developing manufacturing teams will be highly desirable.
