BioTalent is supporting an exciting immuno-oncology-focused biotherapeutic company, supporting the continued growth and development of their new technology. Based out of the Watertown area, you will lead a number of high-profile projects in the Process Development team, you will work with state-of-the-art equipment and well-renowned industry leaders, building out the team into the new year.



This role will offer you the opportunity to:

Lead the design and development of next-generation, recombinant protein therapeutics for patients
Developing innovative, novel delivery platforms using multiple technologies
Lead all Process Development & Tech Transfer projects.
Longer-term growth including leading a highly successful team of PD Scientists.
Work cross-functionally, collaborating with teams spanning all aspects of pre-clinical, clinical and commercial development.


You will be responsible for:

Managing technology development and innovation projects.
Managing process/technology transfers.
Design, execute and analyze systematic experiments utilizing their novel protein therapeutics strategies.
Communication between functions and areas as well as customer interactions.
Representing PD for all regulatory inspections and customer audits.
Continuous improvement programs for all processes in line with company initiatives
Responsible for timelines, deadlines, and costs.


You must have the following:

Ph.D. or equivalent in Biological Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or similar/related discipline with 4+ years of relevant industry experience (BS/MS considered with relevant experience).
Experience working with Protein therapeutics.
Experience working with scale-up and tech transfer to GMP manufacturing.
Working experience with process analytics including HPLC/UPLC, Elisa and SDS page.
Legal right to work in the USA without Visa Sponsorship.
