BioTalent have partnered with a fast growing Radiopharmaceutical company in Connecticut to find a Scientist within Radiochemistry. As the Radiochemistry Scientist, you will be working on chemical synthesis of materials for radiotracer development and translation, as well as preclinical and clinical manufacturing operations

This role will offer you:

You will be responsible for:

  • Synthesis and characterization (HPLC, MS, NMR) of materials needed for tracer manufacturing efforts.
  • Independently solve technical problems, interpret and communicate results to the team in a timely and efficient manner
  • Manufacturing of radiotracers to support discovery phase through GMP implementation
  • Establish and implement analytical methods for characterization of radiolabeled compounds.
  • Prepare reports to communicate study results to internal management, external sponsors, and regulatory agencies.

You will bring the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Organic, Medicinal or Radiochemistry with 3+ years of experience, or preferably, a PhD in Organic Chemistry with a year or more of industry experience.
  • Experience with the discovery and evaluation of PET tracers, including the radiosynthesis, HPLC purification and quality control for PET imaging highly desired.
