BioTalent are working with an exciting biomedical device company based in Aliso Viejo, California to search for Physics Graduates to work as a Scientist on R&D projects for their Optics projects.
 

This role will offer you:

• Opportunity for a recent graduate to gain experience in a cutting edge and fast growing biomedical device company.

You will be responsible for:

• Hands on laboratory work, assisting with development of nomograms for light adjustable lens’.
• Confer with engineering and technical staff regarding fabrication and testing of prototype systems, and modifies design as required.
• Design and commercialize new products based on light adjustable materials technology.
• Ensure that all laboratory equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
• Modify hardware equipment as needed
• Design and build test and manufacturing fixtures as needed

You will bring the following:

• BS or MS in Physics, Optics, Optical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or similar.
• Theoretical and working knowledge of interferometric optical testing.
• Proficient with data analysis tools such as Matlab, MathCAD, Mathematica, or MAPLE.

Salary

$60,000 to $95,000 per year
