BioTalent is supporting the contract resource of an Expert – Analytical Equipment Consultant

Location: Basel Area, Switzerland

Start: Immediate / 4 weeks max notice period

Contract: Full-time, 6 month initial with high chance extension. Onsite requirement 3-4 days per week

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in laboratory equipment qualification through to decommissioning, system validation, and GMP compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead qualification and maintenance of lab instruments (HPLC, UPLC etc.)
• Execute IQ/OQ/PQ protocols and support LIMS and Chromatography Data Systems
• Manage equipment lifecycle, including CAPAs, deviations, and change control processes
• Coordinate with QA, IT, and vendors to maintain regulatory compliance and data integrity
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects across analytical systems and lab operations

Your Profile

• Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline
• 10+ years (Master’s) or 5+ years (PhD) of relevant experience in a GMP-regulated environment
• Proven hands-on experience with analytical equipment, qualification, and troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of GMP, 21 CFR Part 11, CSV, and data integrity principles
• Fluent in English; strong organisational and cross-functional collaboration skills
