Associate Director, AI Data Scientist

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading the development and implementation of AI/ML/GenAI solutions to optimise clinical trial operations, including patient recruitment, retention, real-time monitoring, and automated data collection
  • Creating AI-driven tools for automated generation of clinical documentation such as medical reports, protocols, study reports, and patient narratives
  • Designing predictive and generative AI models using diverse healthcare data sources, including clinical trials, EHR, wearables, patient-reported outcomes, HEOR data, and Phase IV studies
  • Driving innovation in digital healthcare, including patient engagement platforms and new ways to generate real-world evidence
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders (healthcare providers, regulators, AI tech partners) to ensure alignment and compliance with data privacy and regulatory standards
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging AI/ML technologies and methodologies, promoting knowledge-sharing across the organisation

 

You will bring:

  • An advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Data Science, Computer Science, Biostatistics, or a related field
  • 7–10 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 3 years applying AI/ML techniques in healthcare or clinical research
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages, and experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
  • Hands-on experience with generative AI, LLM architectures, NLP, and medical text analysis/generation
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud platforms, MLOps, and version control tools
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally, adapt to changing organisational goals, and build relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Experience in digital healthcare tool design and development (preferred)
  • Professional fluency in English
