I am working with a leading Biotech and Medical device organisation on their search for a Senior Production Engineer based in Oxfordshire.

You will join a dynamic Production Engineering team and be responsible for defining and developing the assembly and overall production process. You'll play a lead role in product and process validation, participating in designing and implementing assembly processes, and drive the development of internal and external production processes.

You will be responsible for:

• Support production with new product releases
• Introducing new equipment to the area, from URS to implementation and validation
• Conducting process improvement projects with the ability to collect and analyse data to scope projects
• Working with specifications, BOMs, production release processes, and ERP systems
• Coordinate the transfer of new products into manufacturing, considering manufacturability and process efficiency
• Create and maintain controlled documentation, including process flows, tool drawings, component specifications, process routers, bills of materials, work instructions, and inspection instructions

You will bring the following:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• ISO9001 and ISO13485 experience
• Previous experience in process improvement projects
• Prior experience of specifications, BOMs, production release process, ERP systems is preferred
• Experience in manual cell manufacturing with a focus on lean initiatives
• Desirable experience with fluid/solution processes and automating/semi-automating processes
