Safety Scientist

BioTalent is working on a remote based opportunity to appoint a Safety Scientist within the Global Safety/Pharmacovigilance team. You will need to already be living in Austria with a valid right to work. This role will be best suited to those with higher lifescience qualifications and demonstrated years industry experience in Drug Safety/Pharmacovigilance with experience in both clinical and post marketing to a global level.

Responsibilities:

• Collaboration with other PV functions ensuring safety surveillance in line with GVP/GCP to global regulatory requirements
• Activities: Provide subject matter experience of medical input, benefit risk, signal management/detection/validation, risk management, periodic safety reports, submissions, interact with external business partners, regulatory authorities etc

Requirements:

• Higher level LifeScience qualification (e.g. MD, PharmD, PhD or equivalent)
• 3+ years Industry experience in Drug Safety/Pharmacovigilance related to both clinical and post marketed products to global level
• Experience interacting with cross functional product safety teams, delivering medical strategy and submissions to authorities nationally and globally.
• Already living in Austria / ability to relocate and in posession of a valid work permit for the EU.
