Key Account Manager

The Key Account Manager (KAM) will be responsible for the sales, brand positioning, and communication of clinical and economic benefits of our products in West Germany. The KAM will develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and ensure local access and product adoption within their territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning and Execution:

    • Develop and execute key account and region plans in line with company strategy.
    • Achieve business objectives in the assigned territory.
    • Utilize multi-channel tools for customer engagement, disease understanding, and brand awareness to expand patient access.
    • Implement compliant, customer-centric solutions that drive business benefits for Advanz and patients.
    • Propose innovative, customer-insight-driven business development ideas at the local level.
  • Customer and Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Facilitate customer education by organizing medical information regional meetings, adhering to the German code of practice.
    • Maintain a speaker list and coordinate speaker meetings and symposia with Medical.
    • Collaborate proactively with medical, market access, and marketing teams to develop solutions meeting stakeholder expectations and account plans.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset:

    • Embrace an entrepreneurial mindset, taking accountability for results and making swift decisions.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in written and oral German; proficiency in written and verbal English.
  • Graduate degree in Business or Life Sciences.
  • Knowledge of the German hospital and office-based landscape.
  • Experience with successful product launches in Psychiatry, Oncology, and Endocrinology.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical, strategic, business planning, communication, and decision-making skills.
