I am currently partnered with a pioneering oncology-focused biotech company developing innovative therapies to transform the lives of cancer patients currently seeking a passionate and experienced Director, Real-World Evidence (RWE) to join their growing team and play a pivotal role in shaping our RWE strategy. In this critical leadership position, you will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing RWE team to generate robust real-world data that informs all stages of our oncology product development and commercialization. You will be a strategic partner to cross-functional teams, including Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, and Commercial, providing expert guidance on the design, execution, and interpretation of RWE studies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive RWE strategy aligned with our overall oncology pipeline and business goals.

• Lead the design and execution of high-quality RWE studies, including observational studies, registries, and claims analyses, to address key product development and commercialization questions.

• Ensure the scientific rigor and regulatory compliance of all RWE activities.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including data vendors, healthcare providers, and patient advocacy groups.

• Translate complex RWE findings into clear and actionable insights for internal decision-making.

• Manage and mentor a team of RWE scientists and analysts.

• Stay current on the evolving RWE landscape and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• PhD in Epidemiology, Public Health, Biostatistics, or a related field.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in RWE generation and analysis, preferably in oncology.

• Proven track record of leading and managing RWE teams.

• Strong understanding of real-world data sources and methodologies.

• Excellent analytical and statistical skills.

• Experience with regulatory considerations for the use of RWE in drug development.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
