Account Manager for Primary Care
Location Braine-l'Alleud

BioTalent have partnered with a multinational healthcare company to find a high skilled digital & commercial talent who is able to develop their connected diagnostic business within a hospital setting.

Based in Belgium, the successful incumbent will be responsible for Benelux, Switzerland & Austria with up to 80% travelling across the region.

In this position, you will assess and grow the primary care market across the region through strategic distribution partnerships and omnichannel approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess market opportunities for the diagnostic portfolio, define target products and estimated sales
  • Perform distributor landscaping, down selection, due diligence and contracting
  • Manage distributors: set target and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), coordinate training and support, conduct performance reviews
  • Develop omnichannel strategy in partnership with distributors and the marketing team
  • Work closely with marketing and distributors for growth hacking and lead generation initiatives.

Skills & Experience
  • Seasoned sales background with product launch experience and a demonstrated record of driving consultative selling.
  • Experience with distributor selection and management
  • A great communicator with customer orientation and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for exploring, locating and proposing new business deals and commercial models. Identifies barriers to change and addresses these appropriately.
  • Ability to easily switch between keeping a holistic overview of market dynamics and detailed troubleshooting when required.
  • Excellent listening and analytical skills.
  • Ability to identify and influence stakeholders.
  • Good knowledge of healthcare and medical devices commercial landscape and competition; Continuously looks for business intelligence and competitive information.
  • Budgetary knowledge and experience.
  • Good knowledge of country healthcare structures, national healthcare politics, and hospital financing.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Skilled in Dutch, French and German are a plus.
