Antonin (Tony) de Fougerolles is a former CSO and CEO who has pioneered the development of numerous transformational new medicines and drug technologies. Tony has nearly 30 years of biotech R&D experience building drug pipelines, and he has played a key role in advancing three new drug modalities to market (mRNA, RNA interference and single-domain antibodies) and in building several multi-billion-dollar companies, including Moderna and Alnylam, from early start-up stage.
Tony also helped discover and advance more than half a dozen now-approved drugs across a wide range of therapeutic applications. He has been involved in several Nasdaq IPOs, raised more than $150m in equity financing, was Principal Investigator and author on more than $80m in grants, has more than 65 scientific publications and is an inventor on more than 120 issued US patents. He now serves on the boards of directors of several private and public healthcare companies, including Helfie AI, Lift Therapeutics, Matrisome Bio, Valerio Therapeutics and Chem AI.
Tony holds a PhD in immunology from Harvard University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Cambridge.
