Rory Gummerson is Operating Partner, Talent Acquisition at Forbion, where he builds leadership and organisational capability across the firm and its portfolio companies. His work spans C-suite and board appointments, hands-on company building, talent strategy and the development of talent intelligence and infrastructure to support organisations from formation through scale-up.
Rory has more than 13 years' experience across the global pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, supporting organisations ranging from early-stage ventures to global pharma across more than 20 countries and throughout the drug development lifecycle.
Prior to joining Forbion, Rory was Head of Talent Acquisition at Achilles Therapeutics, where he built the talent acquisition function and strategy as the company scaled from approximately 60 to 270 employees. He has also held roles with Autolus, Amphista, Vertex, Gilead, GSK and Novartis.
His particular interests include leadership assessment, executive talent, organisational scaling and the application of data and technology to talent decision-making in life sciences.
