Dr Frank Pitzer is the Global Aspire Project Lead for the Diagnostic Division at F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd, where he is spearheading the digital transformation of the organisation's global business processes. With a PhD in Molecular Structural Biology from the Max Planck Institute, Dr Pitzer blends scientific rigour with a distinguished record of executive leadership. His career includes serving as President and CEO of Roche NimbleGen and founding General Manager of the Roche Diagnostics global manufacturing site in China, where he delivered a $450M greenfield facility.
Dr Pitzer's expertise spans molecular diagnostics, genomics and global operational excellence. Having led large-scale organisations across the US, EMEA and APAC, he is an expert in navigating complex regulatory landscapes, including resolving critical FDA compliance issues as Diagnostics global head of Quality and Regulatory Affairs, and driving profitable growth through M&A integration.
