Chris currently serves as the Head of Risk and Fraud Prevention overseeing Paymode-X, one of the largest business payment networks in the US. He is responsible for the overall anti-fraud strategy and technology initiatives to maintain the security of over $250 billion in annual payments within the 450,000+ network membership base.
Previously, Chris most recently served as the Bank Secrecy Act Reporting Manager at Pershing LLC, the largest Broker-Dealer Clearing Firm in the US. He has managed investigations of complex financial crime schemes, securities fraud, terror financing, and money laundering and was also in a senior investigative role in Anti-Money Laundering at the Bank of New York Mellon. Chris is a former federal police officer, a United States Army Infantry Combat Veteran, and holds a BS in Criminal Justice and an MS in Fraud and Forensics.
James Ferguson, an enlisted veteran of the United States Air Force from 1995-2000, having served in Bosnia and Kuwait. James now serves as a Vice President – General Manager within the Fintech space for the last 12 years. James is responsible for leading all product innovation, revenue and strategic direction of the organization and services targeted to the financial service industry. James’ supports veteran targeted organizations and sponsors several State University’s Veteran Affairs offices across the east coast of the U.S. offering internships as well as mentoring separating vets from their branch of service into civilian life.
