Pr. Scientist, Neurodegeneration Discovery Biology Team

BioTalent is excited to partner with a venture-backed biotech focused on combating neurodegenerative diseases through the use of complex protein biologics. Their mission is to promote brain health and repair through genetic and biochemical insights.

Responsibilities:

• Leverage CRO partnerships to design and oversee in vivo neurodegeneration models
• Use multiple experimental animal models to extract and interpret histology and biomarker data
• Provide strategic input on probing shared biology across multiple neurodegenerative diseases
• Provide strategic input on the expansion of the company’s biology platform

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in neuroscience, biology, or a related field and 2+ years of industry experience
• Experience designing in vivo neurodegeneration experiments and interpreting histology and biomarker data
• Experience managing CROs and coordinating external experiments
• Excellent teamwork, organization, and communication skills
