I am currently recruiting for a Software Engineer to working in an Agile/Scrum software development environment specialising in healthcare solutions.

This role will offer you

A fully remote working role with rare/occasional travel to their site in Gloucester

To work closely with highly specialised Product Design Owner and Software Architect to help continuously improve the team's software development activities

To work along-side other highly skilled Senior Engineers where you can learn in a fast-paced, agile environment

A role with high visibility with lots of communication internally and externally with clients

To work within a global leader within the Life-Sciences industry

Responsibilities

Providing expert advice and oversite for software development activities

Determining ways of implementing new features and enhancing existing ones

Defining and enforcing the coding standards

Looking into and assessing performance and scalability issues pre-implementation

Communicating effectively with clients and peers

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field

Commercial experience with PHP, relational databases (MySQL / MS SQL Server) and front-end web technologies

High level of computer literacy

Strong communication skills
