You will be responsible for:
- Playing a key part in the research and design of in vivo projects.
- Planning and carrying out in vivo studies.
- Analysing all aspects of data around these studies and produce reports in a timely fashion.
- Conducting presentations to key stakeholders with your report and data findings.
- Supporting supervisors and training staff in upskilling junior members.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure successful completion and analysis of in vivo projects.
You will bring the following:
- PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant scientific discipline, ideally with 2+ years of industry research.
- Evidence of preparing and running in vivo studies independently and with handling in vivo study operations and logistics.
- Experience with analysis and interpretation of a wide scope of datasets.
- A valid PIL or previous records of holding a PIL, and experience in applying the 3Rs.
- Flexible work mindset and the ability to adapt in line with business needs when required (weekends, evenings and public holidays)
- Desirable – Records of setting up a new rodent model of disease.
- Desirable – Experience measuring pressure-volume loops in rodents (cardiac function).
- Desirable – Rodent surgical experience.
