BioTalent is excited to be partnering with a highly successful CDMO who is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Formulation Development Scientist to fill a key role in their growing team.

This role will offer you:

• A highly visible position supporting the development of formulations, including tablets and capsules and nasal and pulmonary delivery systems, for both small molecule and biologic APIs.
• A hands on role working in small scale and pilot plant manufacturing, including blending, granulation tableting, spray drying and device filling.
• A highly collaborative role with different groups such as the analytical development team
• Responsibility for documentation of laboratory activities, including COSHH and risk assessments, and experimental write up.

You will also be responsible for:

• Management and training of scientific staff, helping others to achieve project goals and milestones and support their personal development
• Project leadership, working with others as required to meet project deliverables to a high standard.

You will bring the following:

• Industry experience in pharmaceutical development, ideally in a CDMO environment.
• Experience in solid dosage formulation development and scale up, with a good knowledge of the transfer of formulations and processes to a GMP manufacturing environment.
• A very high level of organisational ability, clear communication skills and a proactive approach to achieving tasks to a high standard.
